The Practice Nurse can offer advice on reducing potential health risks whilst on holiday. Travel health related topics that might be discussed with you include:
– Vaccinations and anti-malarial drugs
– Food and water Precautions
– Insect and animal bite precautions
– Sun exposure
– Reducing the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) on long-haul journeys.

A variety of leaflets are available and prescriptions for Malaria tablets can be given upon request as a private prescription.
